The park and surrounding bushland abound with native wildlife. Small red necked
wallabies will join you for breakfast most mornings and emus are regular visitors.
The surrounding National Park is a bird watchers paradise with cheeky kookaburras,
bellbirds, plovers and parrots all making their presence felt.
From September to November you might like to just sit on the beach and watch the
whales returning south. They often stay and play just off the headland.
